CLIENT COORDINATOR & MARKETING ASSISTANT
Basic Function: The Client Coordinator & Marketing Assistant works in conjunction with the Office Administrator and Volunteer Coordinator to assess client’s eligibility for home delivered meals program. Works in conjunction with Volunteer Coordinator and Executive Director for fundraising and marketing. The position is part time with paid holidays and paid time off after probationary period. Typical work hours are Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Responsibilities and Duties: The Client Coordinator & Marketing Assistant will be responsible to either perform the duties below as assigned by Executive Director or to ensure that they are accomplished by appropriate volunteers:
- Maintain database for Clients
- New client intakes and assessment
- Route sheet maintenance
- Coordination of the monthly pantry bag and yearly emergency bag programs
- Client follow up to include checking on clients when drivers call with concerns; notifying food vendor of meal count changes when client is not receiving meals; updating route sheets; notifying driver volunteers when clients are on/off routes
- Communication with clients and family/support systems on any issues that may arise
- Communication with referring providers to include phone calls, visits to referring provider location as needed, brochure distribution follow up
- Coordination of Weekend Meal program with PUMC volunteer coordinators
- Website and Facebook updates in conjunction with the Executive Director & Volunteer Coordinator
- Coordinate fundraising events (planning, advertising, flyer distribution, volunteer coordination etc.)
- Share duties with other co-workers as needed to include cross training
- Coordinate the production and updating of the Client intake packets
- Weekly meals counts as well as updates throughout the week
- Any other duties as assigned
Skills and Personal Characteristics:
- Excellent Computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point)
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Experience in coordinating in a volunteer environment
- Able to deal well with stressful situations and a wide variety of people
- Organized and efficient, with attention to detail and follow through
- Delegation skills to appropriate volunteers as needed
- Reliable, honest, able to maintain confidentiality of clients, donors and volunteers
- Flexibility to work occasional events that may occur on evenings or weekends
- Must have reliable personal vehicle for client intakes, back up delivery of a route, visiting referring providers
- A belief in the team approach to the work environment, and the ability to commit to the mission of FMOW
